A Georgian corner cupboard married with a medieval spiral staircase. Their individual former identities are discarded. The stairs no longer serve their function as a thoroughfare, and the cupboard is removed from its corner. Both exist in a new right, united in common purpose by a steel spine. There is disorder, and yet a calm certainty about this new pairing.
